Getting some new clams

I am looking at gettiug a few clams and I wanted to know what is the best place to put them and how to feed them. I have a 75 gallon with two 175W metal halides 10000K, and two VHO's one 50/50 and one actinic blue. Also, is there anything else I should do. Water quality is optimal.

where you place the clams depends on what type of clams you are getting.

clams get a very large majority of there food from light. they will filter the water and eat particles, bacteria. if you want to feed them something extra just add a small amount of live phyto to the tank(dont squirt it at or in the clam)

hears some reading on clams
