Problems worked out?
I had a RK that I bought used, had lots of problems with it.
I am thinking about buying a new RK2, but I'm not sure, after looking at this forum I see lots of people having problems with their units, and the lack of contact information on the website makes me very uneasy, I trled fixing the used unit I bought but could not find a phone number for help, and my emails never got answered, I finally tired of tinkering with it and tossed it for a ranco controller and some timers. were there mainly problems with the older units? is there a new improved unit now that is reliable? or should I just wait a while untill all the bugs are worked out? |

orlenz,
We don't have our phone on our web site but are happy to talk with people on the phone, just shoot us an email request. Also, we always reply to emails and try to within a business day. You can look around this forum and see many customers who rave about our customer service. The ReefKeeper 1 had some compatibility issues with some ballasts, but did work very well for most people. I don't know the background of your unit though. The new ReefKeeper 2 is a great product. We did have a pH issue but are responsive to anyone that experiences a problem. So the only bug was with pH, and that is fixed, so you can be confident that it is a solid product. Remember, if you order it and don’t like it, you can return it within 30 days and get a full refund, also it comes with a 2 year warranty! Hope this clears things up, Nick
