Just chillin with some chiller questions

I'm going to soon get a nice halide setup and pondering the different chillers out there. Some questions come to mind...

Do inline chillers require a dedicated filter to polish the water before entering the device?

Are drop-in chillers considerably quieter than inline since they don't actually move the water?

Are more expensive brand chillers worth the splurge... or should I disregard brand and find the best money for hp that suits my tank?

I have a 65 w/ 20 sump and was thinking of a 1/8 hp...
