Octopus has a HOB skimmer as well. I haven't used it but I hear the Octopus skimmers work very nicely.

yeah, on other threads people say there is no skimmer that works out for 24g cubes or aquapods, when the toplid is on.

does anybody got pics of that skimmer on the sump?

most people ditch the lid due to various reasons. mostly for heat/gas exchange.....

Runing the HQI Sunpod so the glass top stops at the sump. Not a problem with that. Any pictures, please post.

News about the Tunze. If you mod the first chamber with a second water return, I can't see the Tunze fitting in that chamber. I am almost ready to put water, sand, and rock in my tank and I am just finishing up mod's to do so and there is no room left to add an in chamber skimmer. Even if I wanted to do the FIsson (I've read that it is a peice of crap), there wouldn't be enough room to fit it. It's just too tight back there.

Remoa Nano, here I come.

Good luck
