Orlando!! Oceanblue or S.I.T.C

Orlando, thanks for the feedback from the thread I started concerning who had the best store in town. In my very short, fun filled disney park, florida mall and outlet shopping, and wishing for a way to have left my naggin' wife in dallas time in orlando...I was only able to see Oceanblue. i did contact SITC, but the store hours did not permit me to get by there in time.

I thought Oceanblue had a very nice display of sps "whole" colonies...with emaphasizes on "whole"...we see so many frags of different species...i just thought it was nice to see a "whole" colony for sell. lots of fish ...they all appeared to be healthy...im a tang freak...so i loved all the tangs that were available. a nice selection of dry goods as well...and i believe i saw maybe 3 or 4 display tanks...i can only remember the tank immediately to the right after entering the store.

i would have to agree that you may find better pricing at some other stores...but overall grade would have been an "A" from me...i thought Oceanblue was nice.

i wish i could have stayed longer...but my wife literally had an episode about me driving (during rush hour) from the Disney park area over to Oceanblue...she didnt even get out of the car to see the store LOL!!! i wish i had a picture of her face when i jokingly mentioned stopping at one more store LOL!!

thanks again Orlando!!

Glad you liked Ocean Blue, your right it is a class A store. Although some of the prices are a bit high I have always gotten first class service from Vin the owner.

I like both Ocean Blue and Sea In The City - they both are great stores.

OB happens to be closer to my house and I end up driving by it for various reasons and it often sucks me in. I think my car needs an alignment or something. I go by that shopping center and the alignment is pulling like crazy right into the parking lot.

I also love to go to SITC, but it is harder for me to get over there since I have to plan on at least 2 hours or more to hang out and gawk at everything and bug Marcye and Carole

I was in Ocean Blue last Sat. and they had, lots of good corals and fish and some really cool anemones. Also, they are really expanding their top end hardware such as carrying the Giesemann lights, etc. They are also opening a second store over in the Waterford Lakes area in a month or so...
