WTB 100 + gallon RR setup.

Want to upgrade my 50 gallon setup. Would like to get into something around 125 gallons RR. Looking for Stand, canopy, light sump, etc.

Welcome! Tell us about your current setup and livestock, and what you'd like to do with the new tank.

Current setup

I currently have a 50 gallon non RR with about 55 pounds of live rock, protein skimmer, 2 power heads, stand, and a sump/refug that I built myself that will soon totally replace the bio wheel. Lights are power compacts.

Fish are 2 perc clowns, 1 firefish, 1 bicolored blenny, 1 yellow tail damsel.
1 sally lightfoot (I call it karate crab), 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 banded shrimp.
15 Hermit Crabs and 15 snails.

1 Brain, various zooanthids and mushrooms.

I have been in this hobby for almost 1 year, I have a friend that has been doing it for several years and has been a great deal of help. He has shared some of his mushrooms with me and given me advice on some things. The tank has been great and I have had a lot of success with almost everything I have done with it so far.

What I would like to do is get a 100 gallon RR + (even thinking about 200 gallons or more) and use either the sump that comes with it or convert my 50 into one. I hope the person selling the tank is also selling a larger protein skimmer and maybe lights. I will need to upgrade the lights I have of course because I am interested in having a variety of corals as well as fish. I would like to have larger fish than I have now (I’ve got my eye on a Powder Blue Tang) and I would like to have some room to be creative with the aquascaping. I really want to get more involved with the Colorado Springs Aquarium community. I see from the forums that occasionally you guys trade frags and stuff, I would like to one day do that.

Let me know if this answers your question.

I found this link on CRMRC up north. It is 225 gal, and may be what you are looking for. (I don't know your budget)

But if you are patient, you can find some pretty good deals either in the springs, or the denver area. I got my 180 in brighton for around $650, tank stand, canopy, sand, and some corals.
