Question CSS HOB adjusting ??

SHould i use the red knob on the outlet tube or the valve on the inlet right above the pump to adjust the skimmer?.

i have the css 220 and only have a red knob on the output, use that

If your bubbles don't overflow turn the valve above the pump all the way open and turn your red valve open all the way until the skimmer cycles (gets rid of all the chemical residue inside) then slowly turn the RED valve until your bubbles rise to the desired height. if you cannot keep the valve over the pump open all the way keep it open "as far as possible" until the pump finishes cycling (24-48hrs) then the valve above the pump should be turned all the way open to prevent your pump from overheating
Or you can do what i did and not even use the valve above the pump
