Where do you hook these units up? Into a faucet? Or are they a pump that pulls water out of a bucket?

They can be hooked up directly to a water line via saddle valve.
Hooked to a sink faucet with a faucet adapter
Hooked to a hose or washer line with a an adapter that will fit those nozzles.
They will not pull water by themselves as they need proper pressure behind the water flow

Just figure out the way you want to hook it up or whats best in your place and get the adapter to fit that situation. Mine is "T"d off the laundry faucet.

Phyxius has the answers and we have all those types of fittings. We also have a fitting 3/8 x 3/8 x1/4 that goes on the shutoff under your sink.

The system operates of tap water pressure and you need at least 50 psi, which most homes have, to make the membrane work properly.
