visiting orlando april/may, any lfs worth a visit

Hi everyone,

I was given the details of this forum from mike4271 on ultimate reef bullitin board..........he says hi to everyone!
Anyway I am a reefkeeper based in scotland U.K., I have a 6x2x2' tank based on the berlin system, 2 nems, BTA and a Malu, mostly lps, rics zoes and a couple sps's.
my friend and i are booked to take in the attractions from 19 april for a 20 day stay, we would also like to do some diving from Miami (about 5 days).
Could anybody give us any pointers on good dive outfits and acommodation thats not too dear for the miami trip.?
I would also if possible like to have a look at any marine fish outlets in the Orlando area, would be interested in being able to take some zoa's etc home if possible.
Any input would be greatfully recieved.

Mandy and Hazel

west palm beach has some really good diving and is closer. I used to go with a dive captain named capt tony out of lantana/boytan beach. TNT divers or something like that. probably will give you closer and better stuff than going all the way to miami. From orlando you really can drive down, dive and drive back (and be REALLy tired), but we used to drive down in the morning, dive in the afternoon, hotel the night, dive morning and afternoon then drive home. You can get 6 tanks on just one night stay and three hours driving each way!!

Yeah, its drift diving.....but drift diving is good....less air, and less tired equal more down time! AND there are places like the playground (man made reef) and wrecks all over the place to dive on.
