Help with lighting
I have a 20g long. It is lit by a 14k 150 HQI bulb. the tank is 30" wide and 12" tall.
Is the light going to be to much for zoo's? How much flow do they like? Where is the best placement in this tank for them? The zoo frags I want are going to cost me a few hundred bucks, want to make sure it is going to work first. Thanks |

You have basically described my frag tank, except I have a 250W 14K bulb. I keeps SPS on the top tier of eggcrate, and LPS/zoos on the bottom. The lighting for the zoos is a bit much, so your setup sounds great. I would put a decent sized powerhead in for flow. I use a Seio 820, but probably could make due with something smaller. Good Luck.

Zoo's towards the bottom sounds great.
The flow is currently provided by 2 MJ 900's behind the rockwork, and a Mag 3 as a return from the 40g sump/refugium.
