cabo bound, good snorkeling spots?

I am going to cabo in Nov. and would like to snorkel...I do not want to go out on some tourist trap an pay money to deal with stupid people and be limited to where I can go...

So if anyone knows some good places to snorkel there that would be awesome...also is the snorkeling off the beach any good, or do you really need to take a boat some where?

Thanks,
Brandon
