NS-500 collection cup
jesse-
have you or any other users of the NS skimmers added a drain to the collection cup? is this available from Elos? thanks!

A few have talked about it but to my knowledge nobody has done it. With the right drill bit I don't imagine it would be that difficult to do. I actually have a collection cup that got a small scratch on it, that I was going to give it a shot but just haven't got around to it. The jumbo collection cup is also an option if you need more capacity.

The jumbo is 3.5 inches taller. Take a look at the "NS1000 Experience" thread on page 2 or 3 and you will get outside dimensions of all the skimmers. The NS500 and NS1000 share the same outside dimensions but the ID of the reaction chamber is different.
