Is there such a beast?
We are curious if there is a Reef Club in Central Kentucky say near around Lexington.
Anyone know of one?

I would like to be in a reef club not in central ky but in owensboro . There is not anything like that around here.

I think that is 2-3 hours away I guess it is just how fast you drive.

There's a very active club in Louisville, but to our knowledge that is the only well established marine aquarium club in Kentucky.

I don't know what the drive is to Louisville, but when they have something going on, they will list it on www.lmas.org.

As cward said, MASNA is the national organization that tries to helps its member clubs in many different ways. Please feel free to contact me if you would like additional information beyond what is on our website.

you guys really should check us out at www.lmas.org !! we are THE marine aquarium club in KY, IMHO. we have guys from e-town all the way up to scott county in southern indiana.

feel free to stop by a meeting and see what we are all about. we have a LOT of frag swaps between members (almost every meeting), and we are working on getting enough people from surrounding states to come here for a venue type of frag swap.

i go by bobby on the lmas website, feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions. i almost forgot to mention that we also have members in Lexington.

Kentucky does now have a Reef Society ... We're in the process of forming one..

Keep an eye on our site.. trying to get things formed now... Jump in if you can..

I am in Barbourville, KY but most of the other members are in the central part of Kentucky towards Harrodsburg... Danville

On March 10th at 4:00pm.. the KY Reef Society will be meeting at the Lee's Ford Dock Restaurant. Very Nice Restaurant and Dinner is available while you are there!! Everyone is encouraged to eat so that we don't owe anything for the rental for the room. If anyone can help with arrangements... let me know.

Is this going to be the location for most of the meetings? what is the agenda for this meeting?
