Longest week of my life

I finally got some sleep last night after working 58 hours in three days on the Extreme Makeover house that's being built in Whitehall. If you haven't seen the house yet it's worth checking out. Here's a link to the M/I Homes web site that has some pictures. http://extreme.realliving.com/

Sorry I missed the meeting, I like the frag swap idea.

Now I'm ready for the "Game of the Century"!!!

You should be proud to have had to opportunity to work on such a great project.

Don't worry, we will all let you know what you missed today while sleeping.

Definitely something cool to tell the grandkids about when you get old and grey. What all did you guys do?

We supplied material/labor for the framing, exterior trim, roofing and exterior doors. We had a lot of preparation work done for the framing and it only took us 10 hours to get under roof. It's a 3600sq ft house with a complicated hip roof

No way I'm missing the game Norm. Is anyone having a Buckeye party???

Great job Chris, we took Cory out last night to see the house and we got to see a couple of the design team members from the show.

Question: Do they actually design anything?

Actually Ed is an outstanding carpenter and I got to see him work on his special project for a while yesterday. From what the crew said, Paul is a great carpenter too. As for the rest, they might have some talent, but I didn't get to see it.

nice job Chris! they should all give you guys a few days off after that. Did you use your influence and get a fish tank in that house?! can't wait to hear the details.

Very nice. That is very cool that you got to be a part of it. How do they go about picking the family that they do this for? I've never watched the show.
10 hrs under roof is amazing!! I've seen some amazing framers from being a Superintendent for Dominion homes, but never 10 hrs., especially for the design of the house.
