I love nanos - and yours looks great! Don't you wonder how reefD trains his clowns to pose so nicely for pictures?

Curious...just started up a 24g AquaPod about a month ago myself....what kind of mods have you made?
What kind of filtration do you use in the "sump" area? Do you use the sponges that were provided in the overflow area? How do you clean the rounded glass in the front? Other suggestions? btw....looks nice! |

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I completely removed everything from the "sump" chamber and run a AquaC remora pro skimmer back there. I replaced the stock pump with a maxijet 900 and run an additional maxijet 900. I opted for the upgraded 70W HQI lights. THe rounded glass is tough to clean, I do go in there with an old credit card every once and a while to clean it up. I just ordered up a nimble nano super magnet from Jerome on here to see if it's design is better for the rounded areas. |
