Water Change

How often and how much % would you cange a 30 gallon

30lbs live rock
2 perculas
1 royal gramma
1 pygmy cherb angel


was thinkin 10-15% every Month?

i would do either 5g's weekly, or 10g bi-weekly minimum.

water changes are the best thing you can do to keep you water quality up in a nano. and IME, small changes more often is best way to go.

10 bi weekly, sounds good, now do i need to agitate the substrate with marine aquariums?

I use a Python Siphon, for my africans and stir up the substrate. is cleaning marine any different

I give it a stir, get rid of any detrius I see. I would do weekly water changes. There is a saying from Anthony Calfo.. Dilution is the solution to polution.
