I've gotten pretty good at acquiring equipment that doesnt have any documentation with it, and when I google for it, I either get nothing or I get it in foreign languages.
I recently picked up an Askoll Thermal Compact 200W heater. It has the numbers IP 68 on it. There is a dial on top of it, however, it doesnt turn (it appears to be part of the stopper placed in the heater. I cant for the life of me figure out how to get it to work. The website is in italian, and the english portion acknowledges nothing about aquarium heaters - just heater pumps. When I plug it in, no light comes on, but I'm confident that it will work if I can figure out how to set the temp on it.
If anyone has any tips, that'd be great. Also, I assume its not submersible, but it'd be good to know if it is or isnt.
