Where is the best place to get up close and personal with alligators in Tampa. I have seen them up close kayaking in Arcadia state park, but I was thinking of something less of an trip, but more personal than a zoo.

gatorland is pretty cool, alot of gators and you can feed them.

Gatorland is near Orlando and is pretty cool. The only ones to pet were small ones though.

I don't know your definition of close but Myakka state park around Sarasota has a ridiculous amount of alligators if you go kayaking there... I stopped counting at 28 one afternoon. Busch Gardens has allot that you can get within a few feet of but not touch.

silver springs in Ocala has gator info and also feeding shows as well as the opportunity to hold a small gator and get your pic taken

last trip through the everglades (years ago) we stopped at a reservation for a great airboat ride and they also had small gators available for you to hold and take pics
