Thank You Richard

The rock looks great. I think the second batch has finished cycling now, so I should be ready for some fish soon. Here are a few pictures from the 1st and second packages and a link to a build thread I have posted. Tons of great stuff. It is almost too much for the tank!

Here are some shots of package 1.
Here are the 440 pounds of boxes, argh my back...

Here is the packing job by Richard. The Samsonit Gorilla got to some of the boxes but no leaks.

Here is the first shipment in my tank

Here is a tank shot after the second shipment arrived. I did a water change yesterday as the cycle was ending, since I had not done a water change at all since getting the first shipment. The paramters seem to be under control.

Thanks, the tank is doing pretty well. I do have a few questions though:

1). Is this sponge dying?

http://i434.photobucket.com/albums/q...d/IMG_1322.jpg

I have been feeding the tank Phyto2. I was feeding 1/2 cap of each of the phyto2 bottles. They are for two types of phyto plankton. The directions say a teaspoon for every 25 gallons but I don't want to polute the tank. I was doing this everyday other day. I bumped up today to a capful of each bottle. On the off days I started putting about a pencil eraser sized amount of cyclopeze in the tank, my new clownfish love it. I'm wondering if I am underfeeding, or is this to be expected. My parameters are pretty good:

0 Amonia
< 10 Nitrates
< .2 Nitrites

I have yet see see Nitrates ot Nitrites at 0, but I am sure this is part of the new tank process. any thoughts?

2). The blade Gorgonia seems to have shed a clear layer of "skin". It has nice polyp extension, is this normal or should I be worried?

The sponge is 'sloughing"........as do gorgonians....kind of a sheading ....if a sponge does die, they will start to turn darker in spots, a little at a time.....they do not just fall apart when on the way out....
