issues with 6105 powerhead and 1073.05 pump

I have 2 Tunze 6105 powerheads with included 7090 controllers.

1 of the powerheads is not functioning properly.
The controller LEDs are flashing , but the powerhead does not work consistently
The controller seems to indicate the pump should be working based o the flashing LEDs.

Not sure if it is a powerhead problem or a controller problem.
Not sure if I should open up the 7090 controllers and swap powerheads to troubleshoot.

Should I send it in for diagnosis and repair ?

I also have a 1073.05 pump I'd like to send in for diagnosis and repairs as well.

Assuming the pump is clean and the metal shaft is fixed in the pump, it will be a motor or controller issue and should be sent in.

Just include a note with your contact info and return address and send to:

Tunze USA
305 Victor St
Austin, TX 78753

I generally complete a repair within a day, the last week of August is an exception, I will be in Florida all week for MACNA and family time at Disney and no repairs will be done that week. If possible send it by the end of this week so I can get it in time.

I just recently bought a new 1073.05 pump to replace another that was malfunctioning.
Within a month the new pump started to have issues.
it now cycles on/off continuously every 15-20 seconds
The controller led lights up every time it switches back on.
It is connected to my GHL Profilux 4 controller via a GHL powerbar.
Would appreciate your input on this issue.

Somewhat disappointed...

Check that the bearings are fully seated, they should remain firmly seated in a socket down in the well and in the impeller cover and not come out without effort and a tool to pull them out. You need a dowel or pen or some blunt object to seat the bearing down in the well. Assuming the power bar is only for on and off switching and shows it is on, I would not presume any issue related to the controller. I really rarely see 1073.050 failures even very old, I would suspect this is something simple related to the drive unit jamming.
