So heres my 34 gallon i broke down a year or so ago.

Since i finally moved I decided to do another. I wanted to do this one bigger and better as well as a couple of surprises. So i ordered a 39 gallon from my buddy eddie over at cadlights. So i wait a few days and finally my tank arrives. But to my horror ups did this my tank <_< :( :o :o

Needless to say i was really ****ed but eddie told me not to worry about it he would send another tank. But i thought about it and decided it wasnt worth the risk of ups destroying another perfectly good tank. So i decided to go to Brooklyn and pick the tank up myself. I got a chance to finally meet eddie in person( great guy btw) and picked up my tank(he even helped me get it into my car) hows that for customer service!! And to top it all off eddie refunded me the shipping charges on the tank. So now you have a pretty good idea how awesome cadlight service is.Please dont hesistate to buy a tank from eddie...hes really one of a kind.

So im just about ready to set my tank up but on my way to work i get hit by a tractor trailer(see pics) and separate my shoulder pretty badly.

So a few weeks go by and i just cant take it and even though it hurts like heck i managed to get my tank together. So enough talking heres the tank this time with leds... I know its empty im going to order my rock and stuff on monday

Nice job. More details about the tank!! mp 20?

rehype 07/06/2009 10:13 PM

Yes it is. I also have a tunze osmolator and a reefkeeper lite. Although i do think i may sell the reefkeeper lite and pickup a ghl profilux. Id like to have more control over the led fixture. I ordered a hanging kit which i should have by friday. And my LR should be here on wednesday.ill be sure to update with some more pics after i finish the aquascape.

rehype 07/10/2009 05:59 PM

So i finally finished aquascaping. It came out the way i wanted so im pretty happy about that. I was playing around with the leds. First pic is with all of the leds on at 100% The second is with just the blue leds at 100% and the last pic is one module with all leds on and the second module with just blue leds

HookedonReef17 07/10/2009 08:28 PM

nice job! Like the good sized gap btwn the rocks. A+ How many lbs did you use?

rehype 07/10/2009 08:45 PM

Thanks alot. I used roughly 35lbs

rehype 07/25/2009 12:36 PM

So i finally got around to hanging the leds. I bought a sulight hanging kit and personally think its the best. It sooo easy to adjust the height when you need to mess around inside the tank.So heres some pics with the lights on and off

Your solana was beautiful! Btw sorry about the luck with the tank and accident but good to see it works out in the end!

rehype 07/25/2009 04:54 PM

Thanks alot reefracer. It was actually a cadlight but they stopped making that model a while back

copeland118 07/26/2009 10:24 PM

what is the gallons in the display part of the tank

rehype 07/26/2009 10:30 PM

Im not sure.

vegita51 07/26/2009 10:42 PM

Looks like your off to a great start! I can't wait to see how you place your corals.

rehype 07/30/2009 10:33 PM

Thanks alot Vegita. So my GHl profilux controller came in a few days along with my doser. I got a wickedly good deal on the entire package which includes the

http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/b...e/profilux.jpg

Profilux II Plus Controller
6 Outlet powerbar
Temp probe
PH probe
3 pump dosing unit

One of the best things about the profilux controller is the ability to utilize the full potential of my aquaillumination led sytem. The standard controller that comes with the led system is very limited. But with the profilux you get to unleash its true potential. Thanks alot to Scott cerreta for showing in detail how to get the best of the AI/GHl marriage.

So i picked up my bluespotted jawfish the other day. Ive always wanted one of these guys but didnt want to cover the top of my tank. Well i finally did that and must say hes one of my favorites. They have great personalities. I decided to make a small vid of him

Meet BJ

rehype 08/01/2009 03:01 PM

Thanks

rehype 08/03/2009 11:39 AM

So i picked up some new additions this weekend. A helfrich firefish and an allens damsel. The allens damsel has to be the prettiest damsel ive ever seen and is the most peaceful of the damsels. He gets along great with the helfrich although my jawfish was pretty ****ed about his arrival. They seem to be getting along better now

Well here a quick vid i took of them yesterday

The Saltwater Bunch

I just wanted to show a demo of the lightning storm produced by the ghl controller and AI led unit. So i posted a vid of it in action

qn5reef 08/05/2009 12:27 AM

WOW, cool effect. Does the GHL contorller do other effects too?

rehype 08/05/2009 06:45 AM

It also does cloud and rainy day simulation.
