Focus Stacking
 

How many of you use focus stacking? I just started playing with it and really like the results but I could use some pointers. I'm still trying to figure out how many shots and of what features I need to compose the image without missing parts of it so any tips you might have about that would be great. For example, I took 10 pics for this and ended up only needing 3 of them. If I was better about selecting my shots, I could have saved a lot of time.
