Thank you all for following my build thread so far and stay tune for upcoming episodes of ‘Ed Reef’s Shallow Crest Inspired ART’ ….……..!!

“So in this upcoming episode, what will Ed Reef do about his micro bubbles?? How about the canopy top?? Have he ‘conveniently’ forgotten about it?? How about his island he’s been talking about since PAGE ONE?? And fins….are we going to see fins in his little ocean before it splits again?? How about the ancient fossil?? Is one going to be sacrifice to the montie gods?? Will he ever going to complete his project?”

May the challenge (oooops I mean journey) continues….

Thanks arctictwist - makes life easier for me too as from experience (my old thread was split a couple of times) people are always asking for some info which is buried somewhere in the thread and I've to do the courtesy to reply back with a link.

This time I just refer them to Page 1

:D

zorden 05/18/2009 06:44 AM

is the following flow sufficient for my future 4ft x 2.5ft x 2ft tank?

one return Pump: Ocrean Runner 6500, tunze 6045, 6055 & 6100 (2 pcs) controlled by 7095.
well going to hide 1 or maybe 2 in the tunze rocks (just like you)

If the flow is still insufficient. i guess i will have to add in 1 or 2 units of vortech MP40

Yeah, you have more than enough flow. Only concern is both your 6045 & 6055 is not able to give out random flow, which is equally important.

I would try to sell both your 6045 & 6055 and start off the tank with the 2 x 6100 first. And then in future, once the SPS grows up, you can add 1 MP40w or another Stream, whatever is the latest then :p

zorden 05/18/2009 07:46 AM

The speed of 6055 can be controlled by a singlecontroller or a multicontroller.
srry to hijack your thread. btw your light hood is nice. how i wish i can get those chinese carpenter to do me a cabinet.
