Acrylic tank restoration,

Hey everyone.
Im trying to restore a used 60 gallon acrylic tank.( my first real reef tank)
i used a cratch removal kit but the acrilic ended up more cloudy, or less clear.
What can i use or what can i do to restore the clarity of the tank?

Is your tank full or empty? If empty I just used sandpaper from 400 grit all the way up to 2000 grit then used headlight restoration and a buffer wheel

My wife and I restored our 450G race track tank over a period of 2 weeks using 1500, 2000, 2500, and 3000 grit wet sand paper. Frequently applying water with a sprayer that had a smidgen of dish soap in it to keep the paper from binding and building up. Once all the scratches and blemishes were removed, we buffed it out with Meguiar's PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner and Polish. The tank looked new. Just be sure to rinse the crap out of it prior to setting it up and introducing your critters.
