Rockwork looks great.
Everything looks clean and your wiring is well labeled.
The sump looks packed full. You may want to upgrade that someday, but otherwise, looks great to me.

Looks cool! Bet you cant wait to stock the tank.

fio1022 12/23/2010 06:26 PM

Sump is tight but very functional and it it deceivingly big.Every in of space being utilized,I would'nt change a thing.
tank is pretty well stocked from previous set up.Lost alot of sps's but whats left looks happy. Not adding anything else for quite some time.
Well maybe another mp40...

Lorenz725 12/23/2010 06:31 PM

very nice set up I also cant wait to see what it looks like in a year! Good work.

noobtothereef 12/23/2010 08:02 PM

how long has it been running? Has the tank even cycled? It looks like not very long and looks a little premature to add all that money in corals

adam87 12/23/2010 08:15 PM

Nice setup. :)

All the lifestock and corals are for previous set up 5yr+ sysytem.
I had everything in a temporary holding system for about 2months,went tank started to crash.I lost alot nice pieces.Real funky smell.almost chemical like.
I had to get everything out fast!So IN everything went.Everything that looked like it was going to die, died even after a last ditch effort to frag a little piece. All other corals seem happy.
I was going to wait another month or two but this was my only option.
Finished all my other upgrades and couldn't be happier with new rockwork.
Really like my new lights
AI SOLs
Vortech
NeptuneApex perfect addition to this set up.

Love those AI's hoping they will come down in price soon.

wickedfish 12/24/2010 07:25 PM

Looks good. Is that a uv next to the apex?

aleonn 12/24/2010 07:43 PM

Very organized and neat! I'll have to copy a lot of that :). How did you cut the vent on your canopy?

BobNY 12/24/2010 09:37 PM

Nice job.
Did you make all those little extension cords that are plugged into the EB8?

When I made that cabinet,I built the vent into it.Shelf and top also vented. This was because at the time I had halides and had to dissipate the heat. When I added the Apex,I also added a second temp probe to turn on canopy fans.Got to keep those AI's cool.Actually they barely get warm.

No,didn't make-walmart(hard to find believe it or not)
I added those because they glow when outlet is ON.Can't tell from looking at EB8 what state outlet is in.Not necessary at all,I just want to know fast what was on and not.

wickedfish-not sure what piece of equipment but no UV.
