Slightly modded Biocube 29
4 Attachment(s)
I started my first Reef tank August of last year and was immediately addicted. I set up a Biocube 29 and had great success. After a while I got bored with LPS and frustrated with the limited space to work in the small chambers in the back of the cube. I made the decision to tear down my tank and sump it.
It wasn't easy, but I gutted the back wall, three rear chambers, and while I was at it, removed the rim. I bought a Super Nano con Dientes overflow kit from Glass-Holes.com (awesome) drilled and plumbed in a Eshopp's RS75 sump (during this process, I also painted the back glass black). To finish things up, I got a Mag5 return pump, SWC 120 cone skimmer, and paired up the EcoTech Radion G2 and MP10. My slightly Modded Biocube! Let me know what you think! |
Looks nice man, what're your plans for it?

I think our definitions of "slightly" are a little different lol.
That said your tank looks pretty boss. The rimless look seems to fit. |

Thanks! I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. Plans...I want to grow SPS, maybe a clam, really not sure...I'm pretty spontaneous, so, we will see!

Wow, looks great! Nice "slightly" moded setup you have there. With the Radion you should be able to grow whatever you want.
