mp40wqd and reeflink can't do firmware upgrade

I have reeflink and it works fine with my mp10s and radion gen 1. I just upgrade a mp40w 2nd gen to a MP40WQD but when i get to the firmware upgrade part it just flashes blue and red. Anyone ran into this?
