Limewater to magnesium dosing ratio

Hi.
Randy has graciously detailed the relative dosing of Mg++ to the two parts (Ca++ and alkalinity) in his article (http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/rhf/index.php).
I couldn't find, however similar recommendation for the dosing of magnesium relative to (fully saturated) kalkwasser.
Can anyone advise please?

I've been interested in a ratio myself, but I believe it differs from aquarium to aquarium because different things that use the calcium and alkalinity use different ratios of mag. So a tank that has a lot of coralline growth would use a different ratio as compared to a tank that has a lot of SPS growth.

The easy thing to do is just test your Ca, Alk, and Mag levels and determine your own personal usage rates, then dose accordingly while occasionally spot checking to make sure you stay on track.
