FRP grate flooring - inexpensive sources?

Does anyone have a good inexpensive source for this?

FRP grate flooring

I need a 4' x 12' section that's 2" x 2" grate.

Look at your local hardware store for egg crate light diffuser.

This isn't eggcrate. It's strong enough to walk on and is used in construction.

Outlets? Scrap and excess yards?

I think I have purchased some drop steel grating in the past from McNichols. I know they carry the fiberglass also.

Few other options if you're willing to be flexible in your mesh size/brand

https://www.grainger.com/category/fi...ecatalog/N-c16

But yeah it's not cheap. IMO, Rigidex brand seems to be the cheapest, and you could do 3 4x4' panels for about $540.

These guys are localish and seems cheaper than even the above. $325 for non-gritted 4 x 8' sheets

That's actually not too bad. Where did you find the pricing? All I get is quote request screens.

Gorgok 04/11/2017 05:42 PM

I just assumed the text above the quote was somewhat accurate. I see this:
4' x 8' x 1.5" - 1.5" Sq Mesh, Gritted
Market Price: $525.00
Our Price: $325.00 SAVE 38%

And it looks like it was gritted after all. Could have sworn i saw non gritted also.

Also, the one above i overlooked somehow, its even bigger and even cheaper, though its only 1" thick instead of the 1.5."

4' x 12' x 1" - 1.5" Sq Mesh, Gritted
Market Price: $495.00
Our Price: $315.00 SAVE 36%

Can you share the exact link? Screenshot? I don't see what you're seeing

All I get is a quote form with a $500 minimum order - just to make sure I got the message!

Thanks but it needs to be strong enough for me to walk on like a catwalk.
