Its not that all uncommon to have them go into hiding for weeks at a time. I once had one go into hiding for about two months were I never seen and figured it was dead. Then just one day there he was so go figure. And this is just in a 40 breeder so not that large of a tank. But I wouldnt worry to much about it.
