First of all, I'm intensely jealous of your "backyard", so to speak. I'd love to have that kind of access to coral reefs, it looks amazing.

Living on Texas' gulf coast ain't so bad, though. I get to dive on oil platforms and wrecks out in the Gulf of Mexico where the visibility can be 80+ at times. Here, we encounter sharks, rays, drum, blennies, gobies, angelfish, wrasse, goatfish, butterflys, triggers, puffers, snappers, etc., but not the variety of corals.

Yes, occassionally I find some sps, but they are few and far between. It's mainly filter feeding gorgonians and sponges that we encounter. Your variety is awesome and beautiful and I'm very very very envious!
