Reef Keeper 2 Upgrade?

Hi I have a ReefKeeper 2 and need to add a few more outlets. I have the 1 energy bar that came with it that has 8 outlets and connections for the PH Probe, Temp, and Monitor. Is there a way to add a pc4 to this? or can I buy a new reefkeeper lite and use the 8 outlet energy bar I already have with the new system?
Thanks for reading and any help.

The RK2 is a all in one kind of system. It is not expandable.

The RKL is a completely new/different system. It cannot use parts from the RK2, nor the other way around.

Look at getting a new controller.
A RKL package similar to the RK2 (8 outlets, pH, ORP, 2 switch ports) is $280. The one with a network interface is $380.

I still have a RK2 on one of my systems, and also have the RKL and the RKE. I switched to the Neptune Apex after I got tired of all the problems with DA (makers of RK2/RKE/RKL).

Have you thought of an Apex lite? Better system than the RKL and RKE, comes with network connectivity, more switch inputs, and is more expandable than the RKL for less money (the RKL NET package is maxed out, no more expansion allowed). They roughly cost $350.

Hope this helps,
Landon

Best system for under $500 is the Apex. Hands down. I own an RKE also, but the Apex blows it out of the water.

There is an iPhone app called aquanotes that lets you view the stats, and make changes to your Apex.

There is also an app for Android phones, and the web interface is great too. You can do everything from the webpage or apps that you can do from the Apex itself.

Hope this helps,
Landon
