Hi,
I have a 90 gallon reef tank thats been slowely coming along over the years now... I have 6 t5's over it now - upgraded previously from 6 48" PC 130 wt bulbs. Since the change it seems like some things are ok but others are not. I am honestly lost with alot of this and it seems like everytime I go into a local store no one has time to help but are sure to be at the register to cash out! My question is this....I am about to build a custom canopy for this....would it be best to do an hanging canopy? And second...based off what Im using now - can I add some led's to get more blue/shimmer but also help corals? What is best type of ones to add thats not just a 'moonlight' ANY HELP APPRECIATED. 48x18x24 - |

Canopy design is kinda hard to call for you.
You could hand it, or have it just sit on tank, or maybe look at the hydrolic hinges some have used that mount to the wall. As for LED strips added I use the Current truelumens to add color/shimmer and promote coral growth, and I'm happy w/ my combo. I used the panorama pro's too, actually stronger and better penetration, but the truelumens fit my canopy better. There are others out there too, this is just what I've used.
