Another Hitch Hiker ID plea

Once again I have found something in my tank that wasn't there yesterday and I don't know what it is. Trying to google these things is difficult, "pinkish brownish polyp thing" doesn't yield much. It is a dull, brown-pink color but that may be because it is on the underside of an arch. Anyway, here are a few terrible pictures. I'm sorry for the quality, but, well, glass and water and light and angles etc etc..

Also I am just starting to get some Gelidium (fibers are just a few mm long) if anyone has tips on that lovely mess (same rock, too).

10g tank w/live rock and sand, Tetra pf10 backfilter, two marineland maxijet-400 pumps (used as powerheads on opposite ends of the tank) rated at 110gph each, and a fluval eco bright LED (24LEDs, 600 lumens, 7W).

hard to tell but almost looks like a sponge, as for the gelidium emerald crabs, turbo snails, sea hares and urchins are supposed to work.

if you talking about that orange brown thing in the center of the 2nd pic then i'd say sponge too.

Nice. Is it good or bad? Keep it or go after it with a pick and some tweezers? My tank is real fresh, so CUC is not yet an option. I just went after the gelidium with tweezers and a baster. I'll monitor to see how bad I spread it around, but it looks like I got it.

*Wow, dumb question, disregard post.
