Tank Restart

Hi,

New to reef central

I had a 29g fowlr that crashed about 6 months ago, power failure that wasn’t caught in time. I removed all the livestock and let the tank sit.

I was pretty disappointed so couldn’t bring myself to start up right away. Im ready now and had a question on my sand/rock. The tank has sat this time with water still in it. I’m about to empty old water and was wondering if I need to remove all sand and live rock and start new with those as well.

Any help appreciated.

Jordan

No, everything has been shut off during this time. The water has been still.

Replacing the sandbed might be smart: detritus and nastiness too great to process easily. The rock should be fine.
