Lighting Choices

Ok i'm currently running my 75g with a 4bulb t5. Im told that i don't have enough lights to get clams and sps to thrive. I'm going to be upgrade my tank sometime next year to a 120g. I'm wondering what would be better a 8 bulb t5 or 2 250w mhs?

Are you using individual reflectors and active cooling? What brand bulbs? 6 bulbs is better on a 75g, but it is for nothing without good reflectors and cooling.

If you do go to a 120g(great size), 8x54 watt T5s would allow you to keep anything. If you go halides, 2x250s in Lumenarc Minis or Lumenmax would work well.
