mini update: GOOD News & Bad News

on a good note: my cycle is complete its ready to go!

I Also did this ...finally

Before & After
(I did not want people to see my overflow so i covered it with limo tint)

On another note: My Ati sunpower has a problem with the balast so i have to send it back

so it will be another week or so to start slowly transfering....

Nice start. Question on your overflow. Does the rounded top on there designed to muffle the sound? How well does it work?

I believe it Desing to create a quick syphon, the wholes on the side are for air Intake to make it quiet & steady flow. It comes standard with the tank so I can't take credit for that . HTH

Beautiful set up, but I think it is a mistake to put this Tang as first fish. It is going to be very hard to add other fish without them getting beat up by him. Powder Blue are known to be very aggressive. Other then that I really like your sump area how clean and neat is. Great job.

Things are looking good!

Just a quick note regarding my personal experience, a PBT would be one of the last fish I introduce, as opposed to the first... they can be quite aggressive and beat up on any fish that are added afterward especially... yours looks nice and small so maybe that aggression hasn't shown up yet.

What I've been working on:

A side cabinet for "electrical stuff" / frag tank stand

1-cut wood to size

2-top&bottom

3-frame

4-side panels

5-better look

6-pre-sand & paint
