What do you run in your media reactor

I have a fusion Nuvo 20 and I've been running seagel in my reactor but I recently took that out and am trying to figure out what I should run instead! Let me know what you run and/or your suggestions!

I'm planning to use Seachem Matrix in a reactor, with not so much rock in the display on a build just starting.

I've researched it quite a bit and it seems like a good choice.

matrix may build some mulm in a reactor since the flow is directly through the media (mine does). I would suggest not running a sponge on the outflow. I run mine in a TLF 150 and give it a shake a couple times a week. Works really well.

Thanks, that sounds like a good idea without the sponge. I'm thinking of using the dual chamber Spectrature reactor with the plastic cylinder inserts. I was thinking about putting the matrix in a media bag inside the plastic cylinders and the pulling the bags out and rinsing them in tank water to clear the mulm at WC's.

Probably best bet to just throw carbon in the reactor and add gfo when needed
