Question Does water go bad?

I've got a 120l barrel that I use to store my RO/DI water. I decided to start keeping saltwater mixed up in there so that when I do a weekly water change the water is already aged and mixed.

Could the water go bad after a while? I don't imagine it would but thought I'd ask anyway. I keep a 1000lph powerhead in there 24/7 to keep it mixed and aerated.

As long it's being moved, I can't think of a reason for it to go bad.

As long as it is in an appropriate container, and the water is moving, that is the best way to keep the saltwater. It's better to have it age than mix and pour.

It's all plastic. The only metal part of it is the ring it came with to seal it, which I don't keep anywhere near it.

I've stored Filtered Natural sea Water that I get from the local university in 55G plastic drums with no movement for over a month and it didn't go bad.
