Yellow fiji leather with hole???

About 1 month back I had dropped a rock on my yellow fiji. Now there is this hole which seems infected maybe..

Its on the left side of the yellow fiji. Any help or info with an issue like this would be great.

Also I do know they can get infections but just never had it happen.

I would try to dip it before it spreads. Or even cut that side off first then dip it.

+1 Mine started doing it when I didn't have enough water flow on it. They love strong water flow! Good luck!

I would not do a thing to it. It will heal better if you left it alone. It might be a good opportunity for you to frag it, but if you just want it to heal, leave it be.

Increase flow for now. Dip in Lugol's if any tissue turns black and try to remove the black tissue as gently as possible.
