Ecoxotic LED question
Hi all, just purchased a used Biocube that has a Ecoxitic 8226 ( red & blue ) Panorama Pro LED , a 8013 UV stunner, and I added a White stunner.
I don't know much about LED lighting, when the tank is ready, how effective are these lights for corals? What types will I be able to run in it? Thanks! |

I run 2 pro's in my BC29... A all blue and a 50/50 blue/white... I am growing acro's, monti's, various LPS, and zoa's with no problem.
I am seriously considering adding a stunner for just a bit more light... But based on my growth I don't think I actually 'need' it... But I'd like to put it at the front of the tank and angle it towards the coral so the light isn't all direct straight down... |

I wish my lighting was a tad whiter as it leans towards purple with the blue/red pro. Oh we'll.

Yea those pro is very powerful, I had about 6 pro on a 1.5ft by 2ft by 2ft deep area in my previous tank....totally burn some of my acro. Also if you add the reflector on them, it makes them even more powerful and direct.
