Unhappy The case of the missing gobby

Here is my story. A month ago I got a gobby/ shrimp combo that spent 4 weeks in QT. The night before moving day(the day I was suppose to put them in my DT) the pistol shrimp died. I got very upset about it and decided to move the gobby the same night. Long story short I moved the gobby fine only I haven't seen him since. The only thing in the tank besides it are two camel shrimps a few hermits and CUC.
I've checked everywhere: overflow, sump, fuge, behind and around the stand. I only have 40gal breeder with about 35lb of live rock so not that much hiding space.
Do you guys think he is hiding somewhere between the rocks where I can't see him(and believe me I've looked), or do you thing he didn't survive the move and the shrimps and CUC took care of it?

Give him time and keep checking the sump. My YWG took a few trips into the sump in his day. He would also hide for a few days from time to time.

Its not that all uncommon to have them go into hiding for weeks at a time. I once had one go into hiding for about two months were I never seen and figured it was dead. Then just one day there he was so go figure. And this is just in a 40 breeder so not that large of a tank. But I wouldnt worry to much about it.

My Antenna Goby disappeared for over a month once...Thought for sure he was dead but then he just reappeared. My Bar Goby also disappeared...sadly I found him on the floor under the tank, crispy as a potato chip. He was my favorite fish.
