Different Korialia evolution models?

Just recieved 2 koralia evolution 1050 powerheads from marinedepot, I noticed on box is white and blue and says "new" evolution. The other box is black and silver, doesnt say evolution but the instruction manual is the same as the other box. Also the sticker on the pump doesnt say evolution. Maybe its the older model? I noticed when I first started this pump, it went backwards. Been using the wave maker and when it switches back to this pump, it spins normal.
