How to frag a torch coral?
I have a torch coral that needs to be fragged. I have done some reading on this topic and from what I have read you need to cut the torch where there is no flesh. The problem I have is even though the branches are 4"+ they still have flesh going to the base. Any suggestions from prior experience?

mine are like that also.it will eventually split into many seperate heads.might take some time but i think if u cut through the fleshy part you will kill it.wait till you see the stone inbetween each head.

Agree to not cut flesh. Can cause infection and take out the whole thing.

Also, please don't use anything except a band saw! Just plain 'ole coral shears do not cut it for euphyllia.
