Pseudochromis throwing sand?
I've had this guy for a few months yet. Yes, he is a bit of a bully, but nothing too awful. Well, the other day I get home from work to find two craters dug out of the sand bed in the front of the tank, and all the sand is covering my coral. I couldn't figure how this's happened. Blew the sand off the corals, filled in the holes. Now I'm sitting on my couch and notice this little bastard is scooping it with his mouth and carrying it over top of the corals. Why wasn't I able to find anything about this before I decided to get him? It can't be that rare. He's driving me nuts.

Never heard of a pseudo doing this. The only thing you can do is wait and see if he gives up spreading the sand or take him back to your LFS.

They'll do that. It's nest building behavior.
