overfeeding

Hello, just a quick question about overfeeding, I just wanted some clarification. If fish are eating all the food they are being given, can this still be overfeeding?

Or does overfeeding only mean when you are giving fish more food than they can eat, causing leftover food? (which is of course very bad for the tank)
Thanks.

Try to limit the food to what the fish can eat in a minute or two. If it takes longer you are likely overfeeding.
