1" bulkhead in a 2" hole?

I purchased a tank that already had a 2" hole drilled. Would a 1' 80 sch bulkhead work? It calls for a 1.88" hole according to BRS.

I'd recommend moving up a bulkhead size then using reducing bushings to bring the piping back to 1"

Next size up( 1.25" ) needs a 2.31" hole and will require me to re-drill the hole or grind it out. Another alternative is to use sch 40 bulkheads where the 1.25" will work perfectly.

you have your answer then. Anytime you don't have to change glass and PVC fittings and adapters will fix it, that should be the first option.
