Like Mobert's amazing tank? It's incredible, but I'm not sure Calvin has room for lots o anemones in there.

I'm speechless. Most amazing setup and build I've ever seen. I wish I had your talents!

Beautifully done. Wish you the most success and happiness with it!

Great build!

That looks like alot of light for a fairly shallow tank... How are the inhabitants doing?

Wow, it's been a long time since I've been on RC and just stumbled across this old thread... So I guess for those who are still asking for an update and didn't see the updates from other threads here is a summary of what went down. Because I was over-driving the T-5's I was replacing bulbs way too often so I traded them out for LED's... Big mistake because the early LED's couldn't be tuned and most of the corals suffered as a result of the brighter lights. Up side was I built a canopy to hold the fixtures, bad news was that the canopy was in the way of my projector and a pain to adjust. The Gigas clam was donated to the Denver Aquarium and last I was there they still had it...

After spending a ton of time just cleaning the glass and fighting with flow and filtration concerns (I should have put an overflow on each end instead or put it against a wall with overflows along the back) I ended up taking the tank down and going nano instead.

I built the stand into a bar and plumbed an ADA glass tank through the bottom and kept the chase as an overflow instead.

All the nano details can be found here, http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=1967609
but here is a brief picture summary:

But after we got everything going and things were doing well, we decided to sell the house, and build a custom place so everything was sold off... I've been without an aquarium for the last 4 years and getting the itch, but I'm currently working on finishing the basement of our new place so it will remain a goal to get back into the hobby one day.
