My question is how long do they typically live naturally? If longer than why try to keep in home aquaria? I know this happens a lot with our hobby so was just asking. They are very attractive and add a nice color and oddity / uniqueness. I'm just not sure if it is practical due to the feeding requirements and longevity.

Like I said, it is just a question not me not being judgmental so thanks for your opinion/answer. Advanced aquaria is also perfectly fine
I realy don't know how long they live in wild.
For me it's a hobby.
If i would not have extended my skills, I would have stick with couplen of nemo's and an anemone and quited long time ago.

So i think for me it's a challenge to extend my horizon and enjoy this hobby in the meanwhile.

I don't much care about discussion what we can or can't keep in out reeftank. That's for each individual to decide for themself.

So far it seems i have come further than the average reefer with my stubborn ways. This tell me i am on the right track

In my eyes your colors were always excellent Glen. Did you make any changes lately, to specifically improve colors?

But we always seek to improve and take on new challenges

The restyling benefited the whole tank
- More light penetration into the lower regions
- more flow everywhere.
- More space for growth and fish.
-less dark spot, so corals are healthier down to the base.
