~ 2 X 150W DE MH

well here is my 20L shots, i had a 20L thread before, here are some new images i just took

Fish List
~ 2 Ocellaris clowns
~ * Blue Hippo Tang
~ Lawnmower Blenny

Invert
~ Cleaner Shrimp
~ Peppermint Shrimp
~ 2 Blue Legged Hermits
~ 3-5 Snails
~ ** Red Star

Front Tank Shot

Sump

45 Gallon Fresh Water Tank

*i hear the sirens. LOL i know its wrong having a blue hippo tang in the 20L tank but please let me explain before you start bashing me here. i knew i was eventually going to buy a 75G tank, i have been looking for used one for a while and finally got a new one. i miscalculated when i bough the hippo tang. i figured when i bought the fish i would qt it for about 4-6 weeks, and in that time period i would build my tank, and get it set up. but something came up so i had to delay the build of my tank. i just put the tang in my display tank 2 days ago besides the tang is REALLY small lol, its about the same size if not smaller than my largest clown fish, its about 1/2 to 3/4"

** the red star actually only have 4 legs lol, when i bought it it had 5 but about two months ago one leg fell off, and people here told me it was eventually going to die, till this day its still crawling up and down my glass / rocks, so that a relief

but here is what i have done so far with the 75G tank

i went to Home Depot on Sunday and bought 2 X 4 for the stand, and i spend about 3 hrs building the stand

here what it looks like now

i plan on getting the doors and canopy done this weekend hopefully,

also plan on getting it drilled, i decided to get it drilled near the top corner of the tank and assembling a external durso

okay now ill need some help here

i might be getting 60ish lbs of live rocks and some dead rock, for about $120, but attach the rocks are some mushrooms and other various corals

since my 75G is not up and running yet, and i dont really have room in my 20L for 60 lb of rocks, i plan to putting the rocks in a container and run the euroreef skimmer for water movement and cycle process(for the dead rock). since there is no light in that container, im assuming the corals wont live

my question is can i just take a sharp razor blaze and cut off the ends of the corals carefully and glue it to a smaller rock and put it in my 20L tank for now?

my plans for this weekend is as follows

~pick up LR
~get my overflow glued together
~ finish stand
~start canopy
~ drill tank (LFS)

thats alot to do lol

im in the process of designing my canopy right now, ill post pics later of my drafts and ask for inputs

as for the overflow i cut some pieces out but donno know if it will work

these are the three sides of it and i have a bottom side cut(not in pic) but if you can image standing it up thats the overflow. will that work? im goin to paint it black or dark blue later.

i actually feed the sun coral every other day,

i feed the tank first, so the sun coral know its feeding time, after about 10 min when the sun coral is opened up, i take a container with 3 cups of tank water, and put the sun coral in that container. i then feed each head at least once, some head eat 2 -3 times LOL, and afterabout 20 mins i put the sun back into the tank and the fish/shrimps/hermit will eat the left overs

I can't do that. I just think that a sun should about to eat as target feed in the tank. It doesn't seem natural to take it out. Otherwise, o well. You have a lot of patience.
